Best in Design Award

And the Manleys Award 2011 goes to … Danni Gowdy

In our never-ending search for and support of the very best in creative talent, Manleys attended the annual End of Year Show at the University of Ulster. Each year, final year students from the Faculty of Art, Design and the Built Environment exhibit their work for assessment. Our design team had a sneak preview prior to its opening to the public in order to select the next winner of the Manleys 'Best in Design' award.

Danni, who has just completed the Visual Communication BA Hons course, was presented with the award at a prize giving ceremony on Friday 3rd June. Her work was chosen due to her excellent branding projects. Mel Carroll, Deputy Creative Director at Manleys said “Danni demonstrated an exceptional ability to translate briefs and produce innovative, original results. We were especially impressed by her variety of unique skills in animation and illustration”.

Danni, pictured receiving her award from Mel, was delighted to receive this reward in recognition of her work. Congratulations to Danni, and to all the final year students who exhibited. To those waiting to start their final year - we can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next year!
