Law Society members advised to ‘Build your Brand’

Over 70 local solicitors heard from Prof. Lester Manley on how now was the time to ‘Build your Brand’ for success and longevity in challenging times as part of the recent ‘Marketing your Firm in 2010’ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event organised by The Law Society.

The Law Society invited a team of expert speakers to offer decision makers a comprehensive and practical guide to improving business through the use of strategic marketing tools. Lester demonstrated to the legal sector the values, principles and methodologies of how to develop the right brand vision, marketing collateral and strategic planning to help their business achieve success. The seminar provided invaluable advice for managing partners faced with the difficult task of marketing their services in times of recession.

This event is part of the overall ‘Realising your firms business potential’; a new practice management initiative launched by the Law Society to support solicitors firms by offering them an opportunity to identify and build their business for the decade ahead.

Speaking after the event, Lester said:

“The legal sector, particularly in Northern Ireland, is going through a challenging time with many aspects of their business changing rapidly. Now is the time that local solicitors to realise that their brand is a valuable asset and one that can assist in building their business in the coming months and years. I hope my talk today has helped to direct and inspire those solicitors who are prepared to commit to the rewarding branding journey ahead.”
