Victim Support
Supporting local needs, Victim Support Northern Ireland is a charity organisation that offers help to over 30,000 people each year who have been affected by crime.
They asked us to help them create a more engaging relationship with the public by developing a new website. After a few consultancy sessions and some careful consideration of the target audiences, we drafted up a plan that would see us build a highly resourceful, creative, fresh and most importantly friendly web interface. This included the use of anillustrated character to add some personality and a whole host of innovative functions such as a ‘delete user history button’ that removes any trace of the site from your web browser history, a ‘hide me button’ that instantly switches you to another website, a ‘printer friendly button’, a quick search feature and easy to follow google maps.
All this combined with a simple intuitive navigation and a user friendly content management system (CMS) has seen Victim Support (NI) receive a very powerful support tool which met and surpassed their expectations.
